- Deliveries within
India are usually made by covered trucks. Overseas shipment is preferablymade
in containers.
- Pressboard sheets
are stacked on a pallet. The pile of sheets is sealed against moisture
ingress by welded plastic foil, and further protected with wrapped paper.
A scrap sheet of pressboard is normally put on top for mechanical protection,
and the stack is secured by steel strapping, cf. Figure. For overseas
shipment the pallet is completed to a cage of wood on all sides against
rough handling.
- Flat parts and
long strips are likewise sealed in plastic.
- Cylinders and moulded
parts, etcetera, are bulky goods. They will be nested, if possible,
inside each other, hermetically sealed in plastic foil, and usually
packed in cardboard boxes or lightweight crates.
- Marking and identification
of the packages will be made according to customer's request.
